Clinical psychologist specialising in therapy for teens & young adults and neuroaffirming autism, adhd and cognitive assessments from children, teens and adults.

Hey there! I’m Ashlee Hancock, Clinical Psychologist

(she/her) BPsych, BPsychHons, MPsych(Clin)

I am a senior clinical psychologist who has experience in various different settings providing specialist mental health services for young people experiencing severe and/or complex mental health concerns.

Within my private practice, I focus on completing autism, adhd and cognitive assessments for children (6+), adolescents and adults using a neurodiversity affirming and trauma informed framework. I also provide individual therapy for teens and young adults aged 13 – 25 years. I welcome people from all backgrounds and am LGBTQIA+ affirmative.

I am registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), a board approved supervisor, and an accredited Medicare clinical psychology service provider. I partake in continued professional development and am committed to staying up to date with the latest research.

I like to bring a sense of playfulness and humour into sessions. When I’m not in the therapy room you will find me hanging out at the theatre, seeing a show or chasing waterfalls (because the rainforest beats the beach any day of the week and I can’t be convinced otherwise). I’ve been told by many teens my gaming choices are embarrassing, but nothing will ever beat ratchet and clank and I love a good mystery series binge, so please recommend any in session!
